Young Ahearn

"Young" Jake Ahearn boxed hall of famers of his time such as Jack Britton, Al McCoy, Jack Dillon and Harry Greb.

Early in his career Young Ahearn would fight welterweights such as Jack Britton, Kid Graves and Jimmy Clabby.

He fought for the middleweight championship twice in 1915 against Al McCoy. Both Newspaper decisions went to Al McCoy.
