Silent Martin

 

 

 

 

 

Silent Martin fought Hall of Famers during his time such including Tommy Gibbons, Harry Greb, Al McCoy and Jack Britton. He got his name because he was a deaf mute. Silent Martin fought most of his career out of New York.

 

Silent Martin fought for the world middleweight championship twice in his career, both times in 1915 against Al McCoy.
