Ralph Brooks

Ralph Brooks was known as the young western heavyweight sensation, and champion of the southwest. He was the Heavyweight Champion of the Allied Army of Occupation from 1919-1920. In the army he engaged in over 40 bouts, results were mostly knockouts, over the worlds leading boxers. Pictured here is Brooks posing opposite Greb before their fight in 1925. Less than a year after he fought Greb, Ralph Brooks died on his birthday at the young age of 26.
