Kid Graves
Kid Graves fought many of the greats during his 14 year career that spanned from 1906 to December 15, 1921. In 1914 Graves claimed the welterweight title when he knocked out Johnny Kid Alberts in New York in the second round. During this time the championship was variously claimed by a group consisting of Jimmy Clabby, Ray Bronson, Jimmy Gardner, Clarence Kid Ferns, Mike Gibbons, Kid Graves, Mike Glover, Ted Kid Lewis, and Jack Britton; for several years there was no universally recognized titleholder. Gravcs fought Jack Britton 5 times through out the years.
In a 1915 fight Harry Greb broke his arm fighting Graves. Graves was given a KO 2 for the fight, thus being one of only two men in history to have recieved a knock out victory against Greb.
