Art Weigand was a light-heavyweight southpaw from New York whose career spanned from 1922 to 1931. Art beat hall of famer Maxie Rosenbloom in 1926. That was the same year Rosenbloom beat Johnny Wilson and Tiger Flowers.

Weigand acheived a draw with Mike McTigue, the same year McTigue beat Tiger Flowers and fought Mickey Walker.
